The products we offer
Choices
Choices is Universal Provident’s private medical insurance product which gives you the power to choose the benefits that suit you and your needs. We have taken the benefits of traditional private medical insurance, added some extra benefits and broken them down into convenient modules, with each module being individually priced – so you are not only in control of the benefits you choose, but also the overall price of your cover. Choices is available as cover for both individuals and corporate groups.
Oasis
Oasis is a new approach to health related insurances, combining serious illness, major medical expenses and a hospital cash benefit. Premiums are based on the age of each adult to be insured, together with their smoking habits. Children can be added at no extra cost.
LivingCare
Living with a disability or impairment can be difficult and costly. LivingCare
is designed to help with the costs of on-going care following such a life affecting
disability or accident. Up to £20,000 a year is payable in the event that you cannot
carry out activities of daily living (including mobility, dressing, feeding and
personal hygiene) or suffer mental impairment. Benefits will continue as long as
the disability, possibly for the rest of your life. Benefits under LivingCare are
index linked, and once a claim has started premiums will be waived for the duration
of the claim.
DentalCare | Group DentalCare
Dental treatment can be expensive, whether provided privately or on the NHS, but
whichever way you choose to arrange your treatment, DentalCare provides cover for
both emergency and non-emergency care. Premiums have been kept at an affordable
rate by restricting cover so that we do not pay for routine check-ups or replacement
fillings, but there is generous cover for many other treatments, including root
treatment, new fillings, extractions and dentures.
TravellersCare
A comprehensive annual multi trip travel insurance that includes cover for winter
sports and scuba diving at no extra cost. Suitable for personal and business use,
TravellersCare provides cover for a wide range of benefits including medical expenses,
compensation for cancellation and curtailment and loss of personal baggage.
IncomeCare
Being able to cope financially in the event of accident or sickness can be yet
another worry. IncomeCare is a value for money option that pays monthly benefits
for up to a year if you are unable to work as a result of sickness or an accident.
After an initial deferred period of 30 or 90 days, monthly benefits are payable
up to £1,800 or 60% of gross monthly income, whichever is the lower.
MortgageCare
MortgageCare is a mortgage repayment protection policy that pays monthly benefits for up to a year if you are unable to work as a result of sickness, accident or unemployment. You are free to choose whether the policy will cover your inability to work as a result of accident and sickness only, unemployment only or accident, sickness and unemployment. After an initial deferred period, you will receive your chosen monthly benefit for up to a year, for any qualifying claim. MortgageCare can provide for monthly benefits up to 25% more than the monthly mortgage repayment amount (to a maximum of £1,800), or 75% of gross monthly income, whichever is the lower, and is a cost-effective way to safeguard your ability to meet your regular commitments - whatever life throws at you.
